About me
Dr. Wilson is Chair of the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine Knoxville. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree in 2000 from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine in Memphis. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine, Knoxville. He was partner in Crossville Medical Group from 2003-2011, then returned to UT Knoxville and joined the Family Medicine faculty in 2011. He completed a Fellowship in Faculty Development at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill in 2015, and he is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He directs the Faculty Development Seminar Series for UT HSC COM Knoxville, as well as being a co-Director of the institution’s Academic Leadership Academy.
