This session will explore managing up, down, and laterally to create effective teams and achieve goals by getting to yes with multiple stakeholders. Additionally, attendees will explore career transitions throughout the career lifecycle. Attendees will participate in case study discussions and hear from panelists about real-world applications on these topics.
Join your peers for this 2 hour workshop where you’ll get a chance to dig into a few topics that are particularly pertinent to the here and now, within the lens of the ADFM Competencies for Chairs and Senior Leaders. After receiving feedback via a brief survey to new and interim chairs, this workshop will focus primarily on competencies around culture building and strategic planning.
We strongly encourage chairs with less than 3 years of experience in the role to consider joining and recognize there may be some of you with more than 3 years of experience who still feel new to the role and welcome you too! You’ll find opportunities to connect over shared experiences, relevant topics and networking opportunities.
(Note: Registration required in advance). Join us for a case-based workshop where cases are presented on an active or resolved dilemma and solicit feedback from the audience in a structured discussion format over dinner.
